Who We Are

The Peace Officers Association of Petaluma is a labor union representing primarily police officers and dispatchers. As a labor union, we strive to improve the working conditions of our members. We work to ensure our employer adheres to the Police Officers' Bill of Rights as outlined by California Government code sections 3300-3312.

The Peace Officers Association of Petaluma also encompasses a 501(c)(3) organization. Our charitable organization strives to support Petaluma-based community groups who seek to better the lives of those living in Petaluma.

The members of the Peace Officers Association of Petaluma work to support the department’s mission of “working with our community to provide professional police services,” and our vision of “those we serve know those who serve them.” The members of the Peace Officers Association of Petaluma are committed to partnering with department leadership, city leaders, and the citizens of Petaluma to keep our community safe.
